Saturday’s Line up (June 27th) begins with the Rooster Crow “Fun Walk & Run” starting at 8:00 am at the Rogue River Middle School track (Beck Field); “Rogue River Friends of the Library Book Sale” 10am-4pm (Rogue River Branch Library – 412 East Main Street); “Downtown Rooster Crow Parade” at 10am (stagging at the Rogue River Shopping Center); The “Kiwanis Kid’s Corral” is FREE for kids of all ages 11am-5pm (behind Woodville Museum); “Woodville Museum Tours” and “Art Show” by Shirley Bell and the Brush Strockers 10am-4pm (corner of First & Oak): Live Entertainment by “Don West featuring Kat” at the Woodville Museum bandstand 11am-2pm; “Art Across the River” 11am-4pm (at Valley Pride Publications on Rogue River Highway and Depot Street Bridge); Rogue River Fire District Extrication Demonstration at 1pm (Elementary School grounds); “Tarasco’s Mexican Dancers” featuring “Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegro” by Traditional Mexican Dancers 1-1:45pm (at the Restaurant); Parade Award Presentation at 2:00pm presented by Miss Rogue River and her Court; Human Crow Contest at 2:15 pm; the “62nd Annual National Rooster Crow Championship” at 2:45 pm. Live entertainment performed by the “Husk Band” at the Woodville Museum bandstand at 3:30pm–7:30pm.” Don’t forget the many food vendors, concessions, arts & crafts booths open from 9am-5pm.
